One day back in 1989, a group of scientists at the National Geographic Institute of France decided to locate the exact centre of the continent. The result? It´s located only 26 km. north of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Emotional, carefree and knowingly beautiful, Vilnius radiates excitement among its post-Soviet alleyways and multicoloured churches.
